CYCLING

 

INTRODUCTION TO CYCLING
This is a beginner level indoor cycling experience tailored to meet the needs of any individual who is brand new to indoor cycling and aerobic exercise. Your instructor will explain how to properly align your seat to protect your knees, hips, and back from injuries. This class is designed to give the brand new client a focus on safety techniques, bike setup, and practice of the various positions on the bike. Participants will leave with a better understanding of their own level of fitness; proper bike setup; modifications and progressions for intensity; and enhanced insight into the structure of a typical indoor cycling class. 

 


CYCLING
This signature indoor cycling experience will transform you in either a 45 or 60 minute class from warm up to cool down. Your instructor will create a journey on a bike by infusing real-world cycling techniques with various natural terrain meant to energize, elevate, and ignite you.

 


NAMA CYCLE
Enjoy a unique combination of cycling and yoga designed to create the perfect balance between mind-body movement. This class begins with 30-40 minutes of endurance cycling on the bike and immediately follows with 45 minutes of yoga focused on balance postures, stretching, and core work. A yoga mat is required for this class. 
*NOTE: NamaCycle is a perfect class for a beginner rider who seeks a lower intensity or shorter aerobic work session. It is also well suited for the advanced rider who seeks to balance their weekly training sessions with endurance riding and a much needed mind body connection.

STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING

 

ONE STRONG
Lean out, strengthen, and gain muscle in this 45- minute strength and conditioning class. Using a variety of functional and strength training equipment, such as Kettlebells, Dumbbells, TRX, Medicine Balls, and Plyometric Boxes, you will move through periods of functional movement patterns in order to strengthen, tone, and build muscle. 

 


ONE HIIT
Keep your heart rate elevated and burn more fat in less time. This class delivers high-intensity interval training on and off the bike through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short recovery periods. And don’t forget about your core. This class delivers it all!
NOTE: This class incorporates both cycling on the bike and strength and conditioning moves performed off the bike. Sneakers recommended in place of cycling shoes for any exercises performed off the bike.

 

 

CycleCore

 

Lead with 30 to 40 minutes of cycling followed immediately by 20-30 minutes of core strengthening exercises and you are well on your way to a fitter midsection. Using a variety of core strengthening concepts from Pilates, TRX, Yoga, and muscle conditioning, the muscles in your pelvis, lower back, hips and abdomen will be guided to work in harmony.

 

 

INTRODUCTION TO TRX
Started with the Navy SEALs, TRX is bodyweight exercises using suspension that develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. TRX requires the use of the TRX Suspension Trainer, a training tool that leverages gravity and the user’s body weight to complete hundreds of exercises. Incorporating TRX into our ONE Strong classes allows individuals to improve mobility, flexibility, strength, endurance, power, core strength, and heart health.

 

This is an introductory level class for those new to TRX. Participants will learn the following during this 45-minute class:
• Fundamental concepts of TRX Suspension Training
• How to correctly set up and use the TRX Suspension Trainer
• The basics on how to progress and regress exercises
• The basics on how to adjust resistance and stability for a variety of exercises
• How to properly perform a variety of exercises

 

TRX 
In this class, participants will improve mobility, flexibility, strength, endurance, power, core strength, and core stability. The TRX class is heavily focused on the TRX Suspension Training System, with smaller increments of muscle conditioning incorporated using dumbbells, kettlebells, jump ropes, and medicine balls. Lean out, strengthen, and gain muscle all in a 30-, 45-, or 60-minute class! Class size is limited to 9 participants.
NOTE: This class does not incorporate cycling.

YOGA

 

HATHA YOGA
75 minutes of moderate to slow flow yoga with an emphasis on alignment technique and breath work. Modifications are offered for all levels of students.

 


NAMA CYCLE

This class begins with 30-40 minutes of endurance and strength training on the bike and immediately follows with 45 minutes of yoga focused on balance postures, stretching, and core work. VINYASA YOGA
60 minutes of moderate to vigorous flow yoga with an emphasis on alignment technique. Modifications are offered for all levels of students.

 


TRX PILATES
45 minutes of Pilates using the TRX suspension training system. Pilates develops much of what exercisers need: strength, flexibility, muscular endurance, coordination, balance, and good posture. The discipline emphasizes correct form instead of going for “the burn”. It is a method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility and muscular strength and endurance
